Process Documentation --
Injection Molding is a heat transfer process. The plastic is melted and injected into the cavity where it is cooled. This heat transfer process must be consistent during every run.
Nautilus provides worksheets for the documentation of the hook up of the water lines and for the set up of auxiliary equipment.
A provision is made to import pictures and videos. This ensures that the setup is done the same way during every production run.

Apart from the features shown above, the software provides check list for Mold Design, Part Design, Mold Inspection ,common molding calculations and conversions so on. Each of these check lists can be customized to personal requirments of each company. All files can be emailed and printed out. The files can be viewed with the Nautilus Viewer which is available free. Managers and engineers who do not do the actual qualification or documentation can install the viewer on their PCs. All databases and files can be stored on the network.
The goal of the software is to provide reliable and consistent means to efficiently mold plastic part.
